Alternative dispute resolution: consumer complaints and government consultation
The Department for Business, Innovation & Skills has launched a consultation setting out the government's proposals for an alternative dispute resolution scheme for consumers who have a complaint about the purchase of goods or services. One example given in the press release where such a scheme might work is in respect of vehicle repairs. The consultation closes on 3 June. Read the consultation.
